Although the Magic won in a very difficult environment north of the border in Toronto, Orlando played far from a perfect ballgame. Here’s a few things that the Magic didn’t do right and can work on before game 5 on Monday night.

1. Turnovers- Orlando turned the ball over 18 times which led to 18 Raptors points. The main culprit was Hedo Turkoglu who committed 7 miscues.

2. Free throw shooting- The Magic left 10 points on the free throw line as they hit on 21 of their 31 attempts for just 67.7%. Dwight Howard’s struggles on the line continued as he connected on just one of his six attempts.

3. Defense on Bosh- Toronto’s Chris Bosh had a monster game as he scored 39 points on 16-26 shooting, and grabbed 15 rebounds. Bosh was a star for three quarters before the Magic took over at the end of the game.

It’s a very good sign for Orlando that they could afford to turn the ball over as much as they did, miss 10 free throws, and still win a road playoff game by double-digits. Toronto will likely have a greater sense of urgency in Monday night’s game as their season is on the line, and Orlando will likely have to play better to end the series and get some much needed rest.
