Orlando played some of their finest basketball of the year as they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 104-90 on Monday night. Despite the convincing win, Orlando was a little sloppy in the first half.

What went wrong:

1. Cold shooting- The Magic were ice cold in the first half as they finished with just 40 points and shot 31% from the field. Although they caught fire midway through the third period, the team still finished under 40% from the field (34-86).

2. Rebounding- Cleveland outrebounded the Magic 44-40, and grabbed 11 offensive boards.

Sorry about the short list, but Orlando defeated a quality opponent when the shots weren't falling for much of the game. The Magic played the Cavs game, and beat them at it, which is a great sign of maturity for the team. At times it wasn't pretty (sometimes downright ugly), but the home team dug in and played good defense, and shut down one of the best players in the game.
