The Orlando Magic proved that they're the third best team in the Eastern Conference as they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 104-90 in front of a near sold out Amway Arena. Orlando played well, especially in the second half to pull away and extend their lead over the Cavaliers to 6.5 games.

What went right:

1. Second half defense- The Magic held the Cavs to 45 second half points, and just 18 in the fourth period. Orlando challenged every shot in the second half and looked like the superior team.

2. Rashard Lewis in the second half- Lewis followed up a scoreless first half in which he was in foul trouble with 21 second half points, keying a Magic run.

3. Three point shooting- The Magic were hot yet again from behind the arc as they hit on 14 of 32 three point attempts for 43.8%.

4. Another double-double for Dwight- Howard was dominant again as he scored 23 points and pulled down 13 boards. Dwight also added 2 blocked shots. The most impressive stat of the night for Howard may have been his 11-15 from the free throw line.

5. Defense behind the arc- Nearly every outside shot the Cavaliers took was met by the hand of an Orlando defender. The Magic held Cleveland to just 6 of 19 shooting from three-point range for 31.6%.

6. Defense on LeBron James- Although the stat sheet says that "the King" scored 30 points, he had to work hard for nearly every one of his shots, and he finished with three turnovers.

7. Ball handling- Despite shooting a low percentage on offense, the Magic took care of the ball as they committed just 10 turnovers that led to only 9 Cleveland points.

MVP- Dwight Howard- Dwight's inside dominance on both ends kept the Cavs from scoring too many points in the paint, and Howard scored enough to keep the Magic in the game while the rest of the offense was struggling.
