1. Defense- Aside from a barrage of points at the end of the game when the outcome was no longer in doubt, Orlando played solid defense on the perimeter, and showed much more effort as compared to Wednesday evening. The Magic held Philly to just 45% from the field, a far cry from the 58.8% they allowed in Toronto. 2. Rebounding- Orlando controlled the glass for most of the evening, and outrebounded the 76ers 38-34, led by Dwight Howard’s 18 boards. 3. Three-point shooting- Orlando made 46% of their three-point attempts, and effectively put the game away from behind the arc. Hedo Turkoglu hit 7 of his 11 three-point attempts. 4. Orlando frontcourt- The Magic frontcourt dominated the 76ers, as they combined for 78 points from Turkoglu, Lewis, and Howard. 5. Hedo was on- Turkoglu finished with 31 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists. Turkoglu took over the game when it was necessary, and the Sixers had nobody that could cover him. 6. Efficient Jameer- Nelson did a fine job of running the offense, and finished with 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. 7. Free throw shooting- Orlando hit on 80% from the line. On this night they didn’t need those points, but it’s always nice to see them convert.
